safety & privacy
an app for meeting people nearby has to earn trust before anything else. here's how it's built to - and, honestly, what we're still finishing.
nothing - not a chat, not your name, not your location - is shared until both people choose it. it's the way the app is built, not a toggle.
go invisible, hide someone, close a door - all instant, all one tap, none of them needing the other person's cooperation.
no coordinates leave our servers. your location is fuzzed. messages vanish as they're read. strangers see a nickname, not your name.
reports go to humans who can warn, suspend, and permanently ban - with the person notified and able to appeal, never silently punished.
a hard age gate keeps anyone under 18 out entirely, and radar-based meeting is held back until 21.
show anyone your exact location, or put you on a map
let your coordinates reach another person's device
let someone message you before you've accepted
tell someone you've hidden or reported them
keep your messages once they've been read
sell or share your data
we'd rather tell you what isn't finished than let a screen imply otherwise. these are being worked on before launch.
screenshot alerts
we're adding detection so you're told if someone captures a disappearing message. it isn't live yet - treat anything you send as if it could be screenshotted until it is.
identity privacy, everywhere
the rule is that strangers only ever see your chosen nickname. it holds in most of the app today, and we're closing the last few screens where your real name can still appear before you've opened a channel with someone.
data-at-rest hardening
we're finalising how stored data is protected and will publish the specifics rather than make a claim we can't yet show. location is already fuzzed and coordinates never leave our servers for another user.
if something goes wrong
report harassment, a fake profile, someone underage, spam or content that crosses a line. a real team reviews every report and can warn, suspend or permanently remove an account - and the person is told when they've been actioned, with a way to appeal. you can also hide anyone instantly - no notification, and it's mutual.

before the doors open
be first through the door
we're building Intimind in the open. save your spot and you'll know the day it goes live - one message, nothing before it.
no spam. one message, the day it's live.
